No. 3 South Carolina women dominates No. 9 TCU, 85-52

The South Carolina women's basketball team got its second straight victory over a top 10 opponent on Sunday with an 85-52 throttling of TCU.

The win for South Carolina was its fourth straight and improved its record to 9-1. The loss for TCU was its first of the season and just like the Gamecocks, its record now stands at 9-1.

The Gamecocks shot 50.8% from the field and 40% from three-point range, compared to TCU's 33.3% from the field and 26.3% from three.

MiLaysia Fulwiley led South Carolina in scoring with 20 points off of the bench. Raven Johnson (11) Te-Hina Paopao (11) and Tessa Johnson (10) were all also in double figures.

Hailey Van Lith was the only Horned Frog in double figures, as she finished with 21 points and six assists. Taylor Bigby added eight points for TCU.

Ashlyn Watkins undoubtedly had the play of the game with a fast break dunk for two of her six points in the game.

After the loss to UCLA on Nov. 24, South Carolina appears to have re-grouped and is once again looking like one of the best teams in the country.
