TCU led 45-24 at the break and appeared to have the game firmly in hand before Utah outscored it 49-36 the rest of the way.
Not much went wrong for TCU in a dominant first-half performance. Senior guard Hailey Van Lith had a team-high 24 points and went straight to the basket on this drive to put TCU up 14-6 with 2:24 left in the opening quarter.

The Horned Frogs shot 11-of-26 (42.3%) from behind the arc, including this jumper from sophomore guard Donovyn Hunter extended TCU's commanding lead to 40-20 with 2:10 left in the first half.

Senior center Sedona Prince had 23 points (9-of-14 FG). This was her fifth straight game with 20 or more points, joining Hall of Famer Sandora Irvin as the only players to accomplish the feat in program history.
Other than junior guard Gianna Kneepkens' 26 points, no other player had more than 14 as the Utes could not overcome their slow start to the game. Utah (13-5, 4-3 Big 12) has dropped three of its last four after a seven-game win streak. Utah returns to action on Wednesday against Kansas.
TCU (19-1, 7-0 Big 12) has won 10 in a row. After Prince's historic night and a quick start out of the gates, the Horned Frogs head into a road test at No. 24 Oklahoma State on Wednesday. Other than letting the game get a little too close for comfort late in the fourth quarter when Utah got to within five, 76-71, with 23 seconds remaining, there is a lot to like about this team as it remains unbeaten in conference play.
