Florida State pulled off the 86-84 upset of No. 13 North Carolina on Sunday in a thrilling finish.

This shot at the buzzer from Florida State guard Ta'Niya Latson sealed the upset for the Seminoles.

That was the third clutch shot in the final 10 seconds. This three from Florida State guard Sydney Bowles put the Seminoles up 84-82 with 7.2 seconds left.

That was quickly followed by a layup from North Carolina guard Reniya Kelly with four seconds remaining before Latson ultimately called game after the thrilling closing seconds.
Latson had a team-high 25 points (10-of-22 FG) and seven assists. The Seminoles were efficient all game, including a near-perfect 15-of-16 from the charity stripe.
Five North Carolina players scored in double figures, led by senior forward Maria Gakdeng's 21 points (7-of-10 FG).
North Carolina (18-4, 6-3 ACC) had its five-game winning streak snapped as it looks to bounce back at No. 22 California on Thursday.
This was Florida State's first win over a ranked opponent this season. The Seminoles (16-4, 6-2 ACC) head to Boston College on Thursday. With three straight wins and Latson averaging 26.6 PPG and shooting 47.6 percent from behind the arc, the thrilling win on Sunday may be the start of things to come as Florida State looks to build on a signature win.
