Rory McIlroy's 2025 PGA tour season got off to a great start this weekend as he won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am thanks to a dominant 66 final round on Sunday, leaving him 21-under for the tournament.
It's McIlroy's 27th career win on the PGA tour, which moves him into the 22nd spot on the all-time leaderboard.
His Eagle on the par-5 14th hole gave him a four-stroke lead, and was probably the knockout punch for him on Sunday.

This weekend's win also means he has now won at least one tournament in eight consecutive seasons, the longest active streak on the tour.
McIlroy is currently going through a decade-long drought when it comes to winning majors, having not won one since 2014 and falling short in frustrating fashion at the U.S. Open a year ago (for the second year in a row) and missing the cut at the British Open.
While the majors have been escaping him, there is still a lot to be said for the consistency with which he wins other events on the tour and his overall standing in the world.
He entered the week as the No. 3 ranked player in the world.
Now that he has his first win of the season out of the way, his focus can now turn to snapping his win-less streak at the majors. His first opportunity this year will come at the Masters in April.
