In what wasn't a great shooting night, No. 24 Florida State's three-point shooting was the key to an 86-81 victory over No. 3 Notre Dame.

Surprisingly, the two leading scorers for the Seminoles did not contribute to the nine made threes for the team.
Ta'Niya Latson led Florida State in scoring with 23 points, as well as a team-leading nine assists.
Makayla Timpson poured in 22 points and 17 rebounds, good for her second straight game with a double-double.
Carla Viegas scored 12 points off the bench on 4-for-7 shooting from three-point range. Her four threes accounted for almost half of the Seminoles team total.

The loss for Notre Dame was its second straight and just the fourth overall this season. The Irish made just four three-pointers and shot 30.8% from deep compared to the Seminoles nine made and 34.6% shooting.
Hannah Hidalgo was held to just 16 points, well below her season average of 24.7 points per game.
Sonia Citron led Notre Dame in scoring with 21 points, her second straight game with 20+ points.
Liatu King finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds, good for her third consecutive double-double.

With the current landscape of the women's ACC standings, it would not be a bit surprising to see these two teams match up together in the ACC Championship game.
