Ja Morant has cryptic social media post amid latest controversy

Ja Morant is facing potential disciplinary action from the NBA once again, but the Memphis Grizzlies star does not seem all that concerned about the latest chapter of his ongoing drama series.

Morant is facing a new wave of criticism after he made what appeared to be a gun-related gesture toward the Golden State Warriors' bench on Tuesday night. Morant raised his arms and made the motion as he was walking across the court during a stoppage in play.

The officials did not appear to see Morant's gesture, so it was not an issue during the game. However, the NBA is reportedly looking into the incident to see if disciplinary action is warranted.

On Wednesday, Morant shared a cryptic post on social media that seemed like a reference to the latest controversy.

If that was Morant's way of saying people are always accusing him of doing something wrong, he should probably take a look in the mirror.

Morant has been suspended multiple times in his career after videos surfaced that showed him flashing a gun. After all of that, he still thought it was a good idea to do a gun-related celebration after an alley-oop dunk last season.

The Grizzlies reportedly fired Taylor Jenkins last week in part because Morant was frustrated with the former head coach. The latest incident involving Morant is a reminder of why that frustration was, in all likelihood, mutual.
