Tezeno received his offer from USC in mid-April, so he moved fast on his decision to commit to the Trojans. He visited campus twice this spring on unofficial visits, which undoubtedly helped the Trojans reel him in.
In fact, he was on campus this past weekend, just days before his commitment.
“My visit went great,” Tezeno told On3. “Had a good time being around all the coaches and the staff, great hospitality and they made me feel welcome, like at home.
“What excites me is that everything is just getting started around there and I think they’re gonna be doing some big things here in the future.”
Tezeno is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound two-way star at the high school level. This past season for Opelousas Catholic School, he notched 46 catches for 1,047 yards and 17 touchdowns to go alongside eight pass breakups on defense.
According to the 247Sports Composite, he's a three-star recruit, ranked as the No. 78 wideout in the 2026 class and the No. 13 recruit from Louisiana. On3 is higher on him than the industry average, ranking him as a four-star and as the No. 42 wideout in the class.
Kentucky, Tulane, Missouri, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Georgia and Houston were all also in the running for his commitment.
With the addition of Tezeno, Riley's 2026 class gets even better and deeper. An incredible 24 recruits have committed to USC in this cycle, and Riley currently boasts the consensus top recruiting class in the nation.
