The 'Most recent 4,000-yard passer by NFL franchise' quiz

Sam Darnold may have played his way into a big paycheck this offseason by leading the Vikings to 14 wins and throwing for 4,319 yards and 35 touchdowns. But with two disastrous showings in the most important games of the year, he also played his way back into chatter about eventually getting benched. Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike MacDonald said (for the summer at least), that idea is out of the question. 

“You guys are crazy,” he said when asked if Darnold could lose his spot to Jalen Milroe at any point before the 2025 season starts. 

“I respect that you’ve got to ask it, but it’s just a crazy question. It’s just not going to happen. Sam’s our starting quarterback.”

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Darnold had by far the best year of his career with the Vikings in 2024, earning his first Pro Bowl appearance thanks to career-bests in essentially every passing category.
