Stephen A. Smith has vulgar message for Solitaire critics

Stephen A. Smith was widely mocked after he was apparently caught playing a game on his phone while in attendance at Game 4 of the NBA Finals, and the longtime ESPN analyst has since issued a vulgar message to his critics.

Smith attended Game 4 of the Finals on Friday night between the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. At one point during the game, a fan who was seated behind Smith took a photo that appeared to show Smith playing Solitaire on his phone.

Smith has a $100M contract with ESPN and primarily covers the NBA, so he appeared to be slacking off on the job. That did not stop him from issuing a defiant response after the photo went viral.

"Yep! That’s me. Who would’ve thought….I can multi-task. Especially during TIMEOUTS! Hope y’all are enjoying the NBA Finals. This is going 7 games now, peeps!" Smith wrote on X late in the game.
