A NASCAR Xfinity Series team has made a major decision in regard to its driver lineup for Saturday's race at Dover Motor Speedway.
Kris Wright is the full-time driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet for Our Motorsports and was initially on the entry list for Saturday's race on Monday. However, as of Tuesday afternoon, Wright has been replaced on the entry list by Kaz Grala.
Wright signed with Our Motorsports for 2025 following the departure of Anthony Alfredo from the No. 5 team.

Wright has struggled in his first full-time Xfinity Series campaign, as he sits 29th in the standings. Wright failed to qualify for the July 5 race at the Chicago Street Course, and with the No. 5 car being in a precarious position in owner points — below the 32nd-place mark that guarantees a starting spot — it's possible that the organization felt that Grala gives the No. 5 team a better chance of qualifying for the race.
It has yet to be confirmed whether or not the driver change is temporary or long-term.
Grala, 26, is a reserve driver for LEGACY Motor Club and a veteran of 31 Cup Series starts, 78 Xfinity Series starts and 51 Truck Series starts. His lone NASCAR start in 2025 came in the Xfinity Series race at the Chicago Street Course, where he started 30th and finished 22nd driving the No. 24 Toyota for Sam Hunt Racing.
