Friesen was transported to a local hospital late on Monday night, with his wife, Jessica, reporting on Tuesday morning that "his vitals are stable... He is in better spirits and resting."
Friesen suffered an open-book pelvic fracture, as well as a fractured right leg. Both injuries will require a surgical operation.
Jessica Friesen reported that while CT scans did not show any head, neck or spine injuries, Stewart Friesen is "still in a tremendous amount of pain."

No update has been given as to Friesen's status for the remainder of the 2025 NASCAR Truck Series season, but he would likely miss significant time, if not the rest of the season. Friesen originally finished third in the July 25 race at Indianapolis Raceway Park before being disqualified.
There are nine races left in the 2025 Truck Series season, which will continue on Aug. 8 at Watkins Glen. Friesen has one win on the season, which came at Michigan International Speedway on June 7 and guaranteed him a spot in the Truck Series playoffs.
No update has been given as to a potential replacement driver for Friesen, though road-course specialist Wesley Slimp could be a candidate to drive in Friesen's place at both Watkins Glen and the Charlotte Roval. Slimp piloted a second Halmar Friesen Racing Toyota at Lime Rock Park on June 28.
Friesen, 42, is a veteran of 200 Truck Series starts and a four-time Truck Series winner.
