The Dallas Cowboys are unsure if star cornerback Trevon Diggs or pass-rusher Micah Parsons will be available to play the Philadelphia Eagles when the regular season begins on Sept. 4.
The Cowboys added running back Jaydon Blue to the questionable list on Sunday morning.
Per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Blue suffered a low ankle sprain in the Cowboys' 31-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Friday night. The team is "h opeful" but uncertain the rookie will play against the Eagles.
"Cowboys RB Jaydon Blue suffered a low ankle sprain in Friday's preseason finale, per source," Fowler posted on X. "The rookie is hopeful to be ready for Week 1."

Blue had trouble staying healthy during training camp this summer. The fifth-round pick injured his right ankle/heel on Aug. 7 and missed two weeks of practice before returning to play the Falcons in his preseason debut.
Blue carried the ball nine times for 25 yards and one touchdown in the contest before reinjuring the same ankle.
Blue's durability is a concern for the Cowboys before the regular season. The 5-foot-9, 196-pound running back has explosive speed, but the Cowboys need him to be available to play on the field on a roster that is short of depth at the position.
Javonte Williams, coming off a season in which he ran for 513 yards and four touchdowns for the Denver Broncos, is listed as the Cowboys' lead back. Seventh-round rookie Phil Mafah is Dallas' third running back behind Blue on the depth chart.
The Cowboys running game was anemic in 2024, rushing for 1,705 yards, the 27th most in the league.
