Report: Three Premier League teams interested in Real Madrid star

Rodrygo has been drawing significant interest from Premier League clubs this summer. The Real Madrid winger is reportedly available on the transfer market if the right offer is made.

The Brazilian forward has spent seven seasons with Madrid, winning three La Liga titles along the way. At 24 years old, he's still capable of improving further and would immediately add some creativity and goal scoring across the front line.

According to a report by Spanish publication Marca, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool all have interest in acquiring Rodrygo ahead of the summer transfer window.

"The current situation at Xabi Alonso's team is leading to these alleged moves, with Rodrygo and Ceballos the main protagonists of the unconfirmed rumors, as no offers or calls have yet appeared from Valdebebas, although Real Madrid's management hasn't ruled out the possibility of them arriving after this weekend's matchd ay," Marca reported. "They know that City, Arsenal and Liverpool are still on the hunt, and anything can happen."

Rodrygo played in 30 La Liga games for Madrid last season. His ability to drive the ball forward is a particular strength, registering 113 progressive carries of at least 10 yards. Both City and Liverpool could benefit from his direct style of play and silky skill set with the ball at his feet.

Nevertheless, Rodrygo won't come cheap. He's still one of Madrid's best young players and is a proven talent at the highest level. It's hard to envision Arsenal shoring up its interest following the addition of Eberechi Eze. That should make things a two-horse race, assuming City and Liverpool are genuinely interested.

Madrid is certainly under no pressure to sell. However, they're unlikely to turn down a fair offer, especially if they believe Rodrygo will struggle for playing time under Xabi Alonso.

As such, another exciting Brazilian talent could be on his way to the Premier League. Whether he can prove to be a difference-maker in the title race will remain to be seen, though.
