The Dallas Cowboys may have traded Micah Parsons away, but his mother is apparently staying loyal to the team anyway.
The Cowboys traveled to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. for Thursday’s season-opening game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Also making the trip was Parsons’ mother Sherese. According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Sherese Parsons was in attendance for the game, and still wearing Cowboys gear.

Perhaps Sherese had already planned on attending the game before her son was traded and still wanted to make the trip. Whatever the case, she clearly doesn’t hold any ill will against the organization for how things went sour with her son.
Perhaps this is not a huge surprise, as she was still very cordial with Jerry Jones even while Parsons himself was locked in his contract dispute with the team. That is still the case even though Jones has tried to argue that trading Parsons will make his team better.
Parsons was ultimately traded to the Green Bay Packers, who signed him to a four-year, $188M extension. Presumably, his mother will be backing the Packers when they face off against Dallas in Week 4.
