Nearly a month after being traded to the Green Bay Packers, edge-rusher Micah Parsons is set to return to AT&T Stadium in Dallas on Sunday.
The Dallas Cowboys play the Packers at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC/Peacock. On Tuesday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones discussed whether Parsons' return gives him extra motivation heading into the prime-time matchup.
"Yes, I do," Jones told KRLD-FM in Dallas when asked if he feels any extra drive. "Of course, I've said this time and time again, I think the world of Micah as an individual, and of course, know him well. I might say, 'I wish him well,' except it's obvious I don't this weekend in terms of Green Bay winning the ballgame. And so, it makes for an exciting time."

Beating Parsons and the 2-1 Packers will be difficult for the Cowboys, especially if they're without star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. On Monday, Jones said the WR suffered a high ankle sprain in a Week 3 loss to the Chicago Bears and could be moved to injured reserve, meaning he will miss at least four games.
However, Parsons played for Dallas for four seasons, so it knows him well. Jones said this should come in handy on Sunday.
"Over the years, when I saw Micah mitigated, when I saw teams play him pretty well, which he's going to make some plays no matter how you play him, but when I saw people play us well with Micah in the game — and it did happen — then obviously, we'll be looking to try to run those kinds of plays," Jones said.
Still, a 1-2 Cowboys team may struggle to run those plays against Parsons, who's showing why the Packers signed him to a four-year, $188M contract extension. Pro Football Focus credits him with 15 pressures through three games, tied for the league's ninth most.
Jones trying to get under Parsons' skin doesn't help Dallas. Along with saying the Cowboys know how to render him ineffective, he has confirmed there will be no tribute video on Sunday. The edge-rusher has yet to discuss whether that bothers him.
Jones is motivated for Sunday, but so is Parsons. The owner's actions and comments should only fuel his fire.
