Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was critical of himself following the Pittsburgh Steelers' 21-14 win over the New England Patriots in Week 3. Rodgers credited the defense for leading the Steelers to victory.
"[The defense] came out and played incredible...I didn't have a good game," Rodgers told Evan Washburn of CBS Sports.

On Tuesday, Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin has a message for Rodgers, saying that his leadership was invaluable to the locker room.
“[N]ot only in terms of his play, but in terms of his relationship with the game. How he interacts with teammates, how he loves the preparation process,” Tomlin said via Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk. “All those things have been double thumbs up, so it’s reasonable to expect the in-stadium performance to mirror that."
Rodgers went 16-of-23 passing for 139 yards, two touchdowns and one interception against New England. However, Rodgers failed to take advantage of the Patriots' five turnovers on Sunday, only scoring touchdowns after two of the turnovers.
Tomlin believes Rodgers will use his frustrations from Week 3 to have a better game against the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin on Sunday.
“He may be disappointed with how he played last week, but we had an opportunity this week to do something about it," Tomlin said. "Just watching him day to day, there is not a high level of concern in terms of outcome being what we and he desire.”
Rodgers is having a solid beginning to the season for the 2-1 Steelers. He's completing 65.1 percent of his passes for 586 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions. While he's not in MVP form, Rodgers is doing enough to make the Steelers a contender.
