The 'Oldest 300-yard passer by NFL team' quiz

Joe Flacco showed exactly why the Cincinnati Bengals traded for him to right the ship at quarterback in the long-term absence of Joe Burrow on ‘Thursday Night Football,’ throwing for 342 yards and three touchdowns in the primetime win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. 

Flacco is closer to 41 years old than 40 and less than a month removed from being benched for rookie Dillon Gabriel in Cleveland. But after completing eight-of-15 passes for 40 yards in the first half of his debut for Cincinnati, Flacco has been cooking with weapons like Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Since the start of the third quarter of the Bengals Week 6 loss to the Packers, Flacco has thrown for 521 yards and five touchdowns to zero interceptions. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Thursday night was easily Flacco’s best game of the season, and will have many Bengals fans starting to believe they can contend for the AFC North title.
