Tyreek Hill had five-word message for Dolphins critics during big win

The Miami Dolphins temporarily silenced their critics with a convincing win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, and star wide receiver Tyreek Hill seemed to enjoy the show.

Hill is out for the season after he suffered a devastating knee injury in Week 4, but he has tried to remain engaged with fans while following along with Dolphins games. The team was 1-6 entering Sunday, so there has not been much for Hill to brag about.

That changed in Week 8, at least for a day. The Dolphins dominated the Falcons, 34-10, in Atlanta. Tua Tagovailoa had one of his best games of the season, and Hill had a few messages for his team's detractors via social media during the blowout.

After the Dolphins went up big early, Hill wrote on X that the "App real quiet right now." That was likely the former All-Pro's way of saying he did not hear as much trash being talked about his team as he has in previous weeks.

Tua Tagovailoa bounced back from a brutal performance

Tagovailoa turned the ball over four times in Miami's 31-6 loss to the Cleveland Browns last week. The poor performance from him and his teammates led to rumors that Mike McDaniel was on the verge of being fired, but the Dolphins stuck with the head coach. That decision appeared to pay off, at least for the time being.

Tagovailoa completed 20-of-26 passes for 205 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions against Atlanta. His 138.6 passer rating was his best in any game this season.

What made Tagovailoa's day even more impressive is that he was battling a swollen eye and had to play with a visor on for the first time in his NFL career.

It would take a miracle for the Dolphins to turn their season around, but they finally have some momentum. They will have to quickly move past their big win to prepare for their "Thursday Night Football" game against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9.
