The red-hot Dallas Stars won their fifth straight game on Saturday night, doing so thanks to the stick of Jason Robertson.
Dallas didn't necessarily need Robertson to take over the game, but he did anyway. The Stars beat the Flyers 5-1 in large part on the back of Robertson's trifecta.
Robertson, 26, scored on exactly half of his shots in the game, recorded a hat trick, his first of the season and sixth of his career. He scored two in the second and then one in the third.
The big night allowed the left winger to match his scoring output from the entire month of November, giving him nine goals and 23 points on the year. After only scoring three in October, one more tally will make November Robertson's best month yet.
But he's been on a tear as of late with six goals and nine points in his last three games.
That's a natty hatty for Jason Robertson!

Robertson is hoping to put together back-to-back 30-goal seasons after totaling 35 last season. He was one shy of 30 two seasons ago, finishing at 29.
And while Robertson's production has dipped some since his monster 2022-23 season — he scored 46 goals and registered 109 points — this latest hat trick shows he still can give a goalie a nightmare on any given night.

Winners of five in a row, the Stars are 12-4-3 and have the second-highest point total in the Western Conference, only behind the rival Colorado Avalanche.
Robertson will now have a few days to rest up, with Dallas off until dropping the puck against the New York Islanders on Tuesday and then embarking on a three-game road trip across the western part of Canada.
