Yaxel Lendeborg helps No. 2 Michigan erase halftime deficit in win over Maryland

Lendeborg leads the team in scoring (15 PPG) and has now scored at least 20 points in three of Michigan's 10 wins. He has also posted three double-doubles, fully showcasing his versatility for a Michigan team that entered Saturday scoring the eighth-most points per game (94 PPG).

Michigan certainly got everything it could handle from the Terrapins, but it was still not enough to dethrone the No. 2 team in the nation. This was the fifth time in 10 games that Michigan has scored at least 100 points, including four of its last five games. It even picked up back-to-back wins over a 21st-ranked Auburn squad and No. 12 Gonzaga by a combined 70 points, which speaks to how dominant the Wolverines have been so far.

The key to all that has been Lendeborg, who continues to inject some tenacity and excitement into one of the most complete teams in the sport. With two ranked wins to its credit already and a scoring margin that was tied for first entering the night (+28), Michigan has looked as dominant as any team in the country.

Even a halftime deficit and some adversity on the road could not slow Lendeborg and the Wolverines down, which should only make them that much more dangerous after overcoming the challenge that Maryland posed.
