Caleb Williams hasn't been in the league for long, and the journey hasn't always been pretty.
Even so, the Chicago Bears quarterback has shown impressive flashes of greatness in almost every game this season. And while accuracy -- or lack thereof -- continues to be a major concern, Williams has been elite at other aspects of the position.
As pointed out by PFSN insider Jacob Infante, Williams might even be the best quarterback ever at avoiding interceptions.
The FOX broadcast just noted that Caleb Williams has just 12 interceptions in his first 1,000 career passing attempts, which is the fewest in NFL history. #Bears pic.twitter.com/IVWMrXjRZX

Throwing just 12 picks in 31 games is impressive for any player, much more for a player in his first two years in the league.
Williams' decision-making is erratic at times, and he's missed some easy reads and wide-open throws. Even so, not putting the ball in harm's way and playing mistake-free football can take a team a long way.
Ben Johnson's team isn't the exception to that rule, as they've shown by reclaiming the top spot in the NFC North with a 10-4 record.
Per Football Reference, Williams has completed just 58% of his passes this season, throwing for 3,150 yards, 21 touchdowns, and six picks.
And with the Bears sitting on the third-best record in all of football, perhaps it's time to get the former No. 1 pick his flowers. The talent is there, and everything else will come with time and hard work.
