John Harbaugh is already the favorite for one HC job

After 18 years in charge of the team and one trip to the Super Bowl, the Baltimore Ravens parted ways with head coach John Harbaugh.

While some may argue that this was long overdue, Harbaugh's pedigree in the league made him an instant front-runner for several positions.

It hasn't even been 24 hours since his dismissal, and he's already the favorite to land the New York Giants' head coaching job.

"Harbaugh is the instant favorite to become the new coach of the Giants, with odds of +150," Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk wrote. "The prior favorite, former Browns coach Kevin Stefanski, is +175. Harbaugh is also 8-1 to become the coach of the Titans, 10-1 to become the coach of the Browns, +650 to coach the Falcons, and +450 to coach the Raiders."

Coach Harbaugh is a well-known commodity and a respected figure around the league, with eleven double-digit win seasons with the Ravens.

However, he's also blown 26 double-digit leads, and his lack of recent postseason success despite having two-time MVP Lamar Jackson at the helm raised questions about whether he was the right guy for the job.

The Giants have an up-and-coming and talented roster with young WR Malik Nabers at the forefront, and after watching Ben Johnson and Mike Vrabel turn two franchises around overnight, they know how crucial it'll be to land the right guy for the job.
