Will Patriots fans get shut out of AFC title game tickets?

The New England Patriots may find Sunday’s AFC Championship Game even more tilted toward the Denver Broncos than expected.

Ticketmaster, one of the world’s largest ticket distributors, is blocking ticket purchases from anyone outside the Rocky Mountain region for the highly anticipated matchup, Boston 25 News reported Tuesday.

According to an in-app message from Ticketmaster, the Rocky Mountain region includes Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Montana, South Dakota and western Kansas. The company cited “limited availability” as the reason for the restriction.

The decision makes it more difficult for Patriots fans — most of whom are based in the Northeast — to attend the game.

New England supporters will be forced to turn to secondary marketplaces, where high demand could drive ticket prices even higher.

The silver lining for Patriots fans is that New England has been one of the NFL’s best road teams. The Patriots went 8–0 away from home during the 2025 regular season, including wins over the Bills, Panthers and Buccaneers.
