Letters have flooded the mailbox of Denver Broncos second-year quarterback Bo Nix since he suffered a season-ending ankle injury.
They're from kids in his neighborhood wishing the 25-year-old quarterback a speedy recovery. On Instagram, Nix's wife, Izzy, shared a photo of the get-well-soon cards. The heartwarming gesture provides the support the QB needs after suffering his injury.
Bo Nix broke a bone in his right ankle in overtime of a 33-30 win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC divisional round. After doctors told the QB he was finished for the rest of the year, his family and backup QBs, Jarrett Stidham and Sam Ehlinger, consoled him.
Izzy Nix captured a photograph of the moment and shared it on Instagram.

"I snuck in this picture because I wanted to remember this moment forever," wrote Izzy Nix (h/t Romi Bean of CBSColorado). "The joy followed by the heartbreak, followed by watching each teammate and coach come to this little corner and sit by Bo's side.
"God could have placed us anywhere, and I'm so grateful He chose Denver. He is the perfect author of Bo's story, and we cannot wait to see what He has in store for this team. We'll be on the front row, cheering the loudest!"

The Broncos will host the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday (3 p.m. ET, CBS/Paramount+). Stidham is set to start with Ehlinger backing him up. As of Tuesday, DraftKings Sportsbook lists the Patriots as a 5.5-point favorite.
Bo Nix, meanwhile, will undergo surgery on his ankle. Per NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, orthopedic surgeon Norman Waldrop was scheduled to perform the surgery in Birmingham, Alabama, on Tuesday. He also operated on Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow's turf toe earlier this season.
Bo Nix will then enter the rehab process, which can take three to four months. That means he should be ready for the start of the 2026 season.
During the regular season, Bo Nix tied for ninth in the NFL in touchdown passes (25) and ranked eighth in passing yards (3,931). Perhaps the well-wishes from his neighbors will help him recover quickly and top those numbers next season.
