Even though the 2025-26 season will likely go down as one of the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo want to forget, they could put all the drama, uncertainty and team struggles aside for one night as Antetokounmpo made sure to accomplish something new to add to his career resume.
Antetokounmpo's individual performance allowed him to pass NBA legend Oscar Robertson and secure a piece of history reached during the Bucks' 134-123 win over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night.
He moved by Robertson for the most regular season games with at least 30 points, 10 or more rebounds and five or more assists in league history.
Against the Pacers, Antetokounmpo put up 31 points for the second consecutive game, doing so in just 23 minutes of action while connecting on 11-of-22 shots from the field and 9-of-13 free throws. He did not take any three-point shots.

In today's win, Giannis (31p, 14r, and 8a) passed Oscar Robertson (159) for the most regular season games with at least 30+ PTS, 10+ REB and 5+ AST in NBA history https://t.co/kiyUgCsHos pic.twitter.com/DTv8votxG0
Antetokounmpo also brought down 14 boards and dished out eight assists while paying to a +17.
Overall, in just 36 games played, the two-time league MVP and 2021 Finals MVP is averaging 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists for the season.

And if his averages hold, Antetokounmpo would finish with a scoring mark below 30 points per game for the first time since 2021-22. But to properly paint the picture of his play, Antetokounmpo's minutes per game of 28.9 is the lowest since his rookie season in 2013-24.
However, despite Antetokounmpo, 31, continuing to show his dominance when healthy, the Bucks are only 28-39 on the year and still stuck outside even the play-in tournament picture as the Eastern Conference's 11th seed. Even with the win, Milwaukee is 5.5 games behind the buzzing Charlotte Hornets for 10th in the conference.
