NASCAR and Kaulig Racing on Tuesday indefinitely suspended NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Daniel Dye after he made inappropriate comments on a livestream mocking the voice of NTT IndyCar Series driver David Malukas.
Per Fox Sports' Bob Pockrass, Dye "made inferences on the sexuality of another man in a tone mocking gay men."
The 22-year-old driver from DeLand, Fla., will also be required to undergo sensitivity training.
Dye was signed by Kaulig Racing to pilot one of the organization's five full-time Truck Series entries with returning manufacturer RAM in 2026. He previously raced full-time in the NASCAR O'Reilly Series with Kaulig in 2025.

Through three races, Dye is 13th in the Truck Series standings. It is not yet known who will replace Dye at Darlington on Friday.
Dye is a veteran of 48 NASCAR O'Reilly Series starts and 49 Truck Series starts. He's yet to win a race in either division.
Dye's suspension is not the first case of NASCAR and a team suspending a driver for inappropriate online conduct. In August 2023, LEGACY Motor Club and NASCAR indefinitely suspended Cup Series driver Noah Gragson after he liked a racially insensitive post on social media.
