The 'No. 2-scorer by NBA champion' quiz

Happy 32nd birthday to four-time NBA All-Star, two-time All-NBA selection, 2024-25 Eastern Conference Finals MVP and 2019 NBA champion, Pascal Siakam!

Siakam was selected with the 27th-overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft out of New Mexico State by the Toronto Raptors, and after seeing limited action in his first two seasons, he burst onto the NBA scene in 2018-19. He averaged 16.9 points-per-game (a 9.6 PPG leap from the year before), with 6.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists en route to the Most Improved Player Award. He was also a key cog in the Raptors first-ever NBA title, scoring 19 points and nabbing a steal in 37.1 minutes-per-game in the postseason.

Siakam was traded to the Indiana Pacers in January 2024, and last year he and Tyrese Haliburton led Indiana to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000, where they fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. On the 2018-19 NBA Champion Raptors squad, the only player with more points-per-game than Siakam was that year’s Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard. With that being said, can you name the second-leading scorer for each NBA champion?

Good luck!
