Collin Chandler had a strong season for the Kentucky Wildcats. He also became a fan favorite in Lexington for his ability to put up monster dunks.
Big Blue Nation will certainly hate to see Chandler go, but that's exactly what is expected to happen.
On Wednesday, it was reported that Chandler, originally from Farmington, Utah, will enter the transfer portal.
He played for 36 games for the Wildcats and started 31 of those, averaging 27.1 minutes per game.
As such, Chandler is undoubtedly a tough player for Mark Pope and Kentucky to lose.

Chandler averaged 9.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game for Kentucky in 2025-26.
He shot a blazing 41% from the three-point line, and he also added 1.2 steals per game, so he could do a little bit of everything.
Again, it was his ability to rock the rim that really got Kentucky fans buzzing on Chandler, though.
He could do this:

This is a GREAT play off of #3 Swain (26% shooter) to come steal it on the roll.

Chandler committed to Pope at Utah out of high school, but then went on a two-year mission. When he got back, Pope had taken the Kentucky job, so Chandler entered the transfer portal and followed him to Lexington.
He's a former four-star recruit, ranked as the No. 6 combo guard in the 2022 class.
