Cameron Boozer arrived at Duke this season with sky-high expectations and an anticipation that he would be one of the best players in college basketball. He mostly matched that hype, and now he has all of the individual honors to prove it.

He also put himself into some pretty elite company in doing so.

Boozer swept the national player of the year honors, winning the Wooden Award, the Naismith Trophy and National Player of the Year from the AP, USBWA, NABC, Sporting News and CollegeInsider.com.

It is an impressive sweep of honors for any player.

It is especially impressive for a freshman, and that is what puts him in elite company on Friday.

With his Wooden Award win, Boozer is just the fifth freshman to ever win the award, joining a list that includes fellow Duke alums Cooper Flagg and Zion Williamson, as well as Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant.
