Sunday's AdventHealth 400 nearly ran free of any cautions for cause — until Cody Ware spun with less as leaders Denny Hamlin and Tyler Reddick came out of turn 4 to take the white flag.
Reddick had chased down Hamlin over the final green flag run to take the lead but gave it back after appearing to run out of fuel and hitting the wall.
But that didn't matter in overtime, where Reddick appeared to be dead in the water with two laps to go but stormed around Kyle Larson in the final corner to take his fifth win in the first nine races of 2026, doing so with 23XI Racing co-owner and NBA legend Michael Jordan on hand to celebrate.
Larson took the lead from Denny Hamlin, who, like Reddick, took on two right side tires ahead of overtime, with a three-wide move on the restart, but was unable to hold off Reddick's furious charge on the last lap.

Reddick apologized to Christopher Bell in his post-race interview after making contact with Bell on the restart that relegated the driver of the No. 20 Toyota to a 20th-place finish.
"Just really blessed with the late caution," Reddick told Fox Sports. "I couldn't believe it. Really hate that for Christopher Bell. Good hard racing. Not thrilled I got Christopher there. These late race restarts, it gets crazy."
Reddick said he was "shocked" to get back to Larson.
23XI Racing has now won four of the last nine Cup Series races at Kansas. The win is the second for Reddick at the 1.5-mile track.
Larson, Chase Briscoe, Hamlin and Bubba Wallace rounded out the top five, with Brad Keselowsi, William Byron, Chase Elliott, Ty Gibbs and Chris Buescher completing the top 10.
Other notable finishers include Carson Hocevar in 13th, Corey Heim in 15th, Alex Bowman in 18th, Ryan Blaney in 24th and Kyle Busch in 35th.
