Kirby Smart, Georgia lose notable commitment from elite CB

Jerry Outhouse is a four-star cornerback from Fort Worth, Texas.

He is no longer committed to the Georgia Bulldogs.

Outhouse had not been committed to UGA for long, but there has apparently been some movement in his recruitment.

Notably, Outhouse has several official visits lined up for this spring and early summer. Schools on the list expected to get official visits from him include UCLA, Florida, Texas Tech and Arizona State.

Georgia is also on his official visit list, with a date in Athens scheduled for June 12.

Whether or not that visit holds is anybody's guess at this point, but what we do know is that Outhouse decommitted from the Bulldogs on Wednesday, April 29.

He had originally made his commitment on March 6, so his time as a Bulldog lasted just over a month.

That's life on the recruiting trail in 2026 and probably for the foreseeable future.

Outhouse is a tough recruit for UGA to lose.

According to the 247Sports Composite, he's ranked as the No. 14 cornerback in the 2027 class. He's also a top-100 recruit overall, checking in at No. 99 in the nation.

Georgia Bulldogs still building a respectable 2027 class despite decommitment

Although Kirby Smart and company would have loved Outhouse to stay aboard, the Bulldogs will indeed survive. They're now down to just seven 2027 commitments, but this is still a very good-looking class.

Even after the decommitment of Outhouse, Georgia's class is ranked No. 20 in the nation, and it features two five-star recruits in running back Kemon Spell and cornerback Donte Wright.

The Bulldogs will be just fine, but he's certainly a notable decommitment.
