The 'Playoff scoring record by team' quiz

With their season on the line, the Detroit Pistons needed Cade Cunningham to be the player they envisioned when selecting him with the first-overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

He delivered on Wednesday night, scoring 45 points with five assists, four rebounds and a steal to force Game 6 in Orlando. Cunningham was 13-of-23 from the field with five three-pointers while also going a perfect 14-for-14 from the free throw line. Cunningham’s first-career 40-point game in the playoffs also set a Pistons postseason scoring record, surpassing Dave Bing’s 44 points against the Celtics in 1968.

The Pistons are trying to avoid becoming just the seventh 1-seed to lose to an 8-seed in the NBA Playoffs after finishing atop the Eastern Conference for the first time since 2003.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the NBA players with the most points scored in a playoff game for each franchise can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
