The 'Multiple 100-catch NFL seasons' quiz

Happy 45th birthday to five-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro wide receiver, Wes Welker!

While Welker never won a Super Bowl, he did have the privilege of playing with two of the best quarterbacks of all time. After spending his first three seasons as a role player for the Chargers and Dolphins, Welker became a household name by leading the NFL with 112 receptions in his first year with Tom Brady in New England as part of the team that went undefeated until their loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLII.

He led the NFL in catches three times in his six years as a Patriot, eclipsing 1,000 yards in all but one of his campaigns there. In 2013 he joined the Denver Broncos, where he got to play with Peyton Manning but suffered another infamous Super Bowl loss as a member of the team that lost 43-8 to Seattle in Super Bowl XLVIII.

All told, Welker played 12 NFL seasons, racking up 9,924 yards and 50 touchdowns on 903 receptions. Unfortunately for him, he never lifted a Lombardi Trophy despite making the Super Bowl three times in his career.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Welker is one of eight players to catch at least 100 passes in five different NFL seasons. How many of the players to do it at least twice can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
