The Seattle Seahawks are looking to repeat as Super Bowl champions after an epic run in 2025.
As is usually the case with the best team in the league, they're dealing with some turnover at the top. They lost offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, who is now the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. They also lost star running back Kenneth Walker III to free agency. He's now with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Seahawks have made some big moves this offseason, though. This latest one may not be at the level of giving star wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba a four-year, $168 million contract extension.
It is an important signing for the Seahawks, though.
On Tuesday, it was reported that EDGE Dante Fowler Jr. is signing with Seattle.

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Fowler with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
There's a case to be made that he never became the bona fide superstar the Jaguars were hoping that he'd be, but he's put together an extremely successful 11 seasons in the NFL and is heading into his 12th as a top veteran EDGE option.
He's notched 58.5 career sacks, 15 forced fumbles, 40.5 stuffs and 97 quarterback hits. In 2019 with the Los Angeles Rams, he totaled 11.5 sacks and had a career year. In 2024 with the Washington Commanders, he tallied 10.5 sacks.
Fowler played for the Dallas Cowboys in 2025 and he totaled three sacks and 10 quarterback hits while playing in all 17 games.
At 31 years old, he's not the young up-and-coming dynamo that he once was, but he'll more than do the job for the defending champs as a veteran presence on their already dominant defense.
