It's another day, and another four-star recruit is heading to the Michigan Wolverines. This is just another moment in the life of new Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham, who's heading up a dynasty.
On Wednesday, four-star wide receiver Quentin Burrell announced his commitment to the maize and blue in a unique way. In a video shared on social media, the player sat in front of four hats representing his final team choices: the Arizona State Sun Devils, Michigan Wolverines, Missouri Tigers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Burrell picked Michigan, but there was a moment when he put on the Notre Dame hat by mistake.
Burnell quickly realized that he had put on the wrong hat, and those on camera laughed about it as he grabbed the Wolverine cap instead. Hopefully, nobody from Notre Dame is too heartbroken over the mishap.

Burrell, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound pass catcher from Illinois' Mount Carmel High School, is No. 57 in the SC Next 300. According to
Eli Lederman of ESPN, "He's ESPN's No. 11 wide receiver prospect and No. 2 overall recruit from Illinois in the 2027 class."
"After the Wolverines flipped No. 1 pocket passer Kamden Lopati from Illinois in April, Burrell arrives as an elite pass-catching talent to anchor the program's latest recruiting class," Lederman adds, "which has picked up seven commitments in the 2027 class since Whittingham took over in December following 21 seasons as head coach at Utah."
Burrnell's On3 scouting report calls him a "bigger, classic outside receiver but can also be effective in the slot," adding that he's "always had very good hand-eye coordination, ball skills and ability to make contested catches."
Whittingham has to be over-the-moon happy about getting this star wide receiver on the squad. Let's hope there are no hard feelings when the Wolverines play the Fighting Irish in their next showdown.
