For weeks, New England Patriots fans have fantasized about an A.J. Brown addition.
His ties to Mike Vrabel and his apparent desire to leave the Philadelphia Eagles, plus the Patriots' admitted interest in his services, have made that potential trade the league's worst-kept secret.
Nevertheless, that won't stop Eagles general manager Howie Roseman from trying to get a better deal, or other teams from joining the race.
Speaking on Kay Adams' "Up & Adams," Bleacher Report insider James Palmer reported that Jacksonville Jaguars GM James Gladstone has been looking to make a big splash, and he might keep an eye on Brown.
"He's always looking to do something big, he's always looking to try to make a move, and at the deadline, man, was he trying to make some things happen, and I mean big things," Palmer said. "They didn't happen, but he was trying to make some big moves at the deadline. So, I wouldn't put anything past James Gladstone in Jacksonville, and I wouldn't put anything past Howie in trying to find the best deal possible."

Palmer explained that the Jaguars have sent mixed signals about their stance on Brian Thomas Jr., and since the Eagles want the best offer they can get, he would probably be in the mix.
Notably, this isn't the first report tying the Jaguars to Brown. Just last week, NFL insider Jason La Canfora also mentioned them as a potential suitor for the former Tennessee Titans star, so there might be something going on there.
The Patriots and Eagles have reportedly discussed the framework of a potential deal, but nothing is official until it's actually done.
And with the Eagles having to wait until June 1 to deal the disgruntled wide receiver, the Jaguars should have more than enough time to put together an enticing offer.
