Stepping up when his team needed him the most, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 122-113 win in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.
Gilgeous-Alexander even passed a franchise legend in the process of delivering his team a much-needed win. His 30 points marked the 27th time he's reached that number in his postseason career with the Thunder, passing Russell Westbrook's 26.
At just 27 and with many more opportunities to come, Gilgeous-Alexander now owns the second most playoff games in a Thunder uniform with at least 30 points, only trailing Kevin Durant's 39.
Most notably, Gilgeous-Alexander put the San Antonio Spurs on notice with a significantly improved performance from Game 1 to Game 2.
Two days after only shooting 30.4 percent from the field in the Thunders' 122-115 double-overtime loss, Gilgeous-Alexander shot 12-for-24 on Wednesday night.
