What the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series Chase bubble looks like after Nashville

Justin Allgaier extended his massive points lead over the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series field with his fourth win of the season on Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway, but the Chase bubble moved plenty below him. Here's what the points situation looks like with only eight races remaining in the regular season.

1. Justin Allgaier (+383)

2. Jesse Love (+204)

3. Corey Day (+187)

4. Sheldon Creed (+145)

5. Brandon Jones (+125)

6. Austin Hill (+112)

7. Carson Kvapil (+106)

8. Sammy Smith (+95)

9. William Sawalich (+42)

Sawalich gained a spot and a staggering 27 points on the cut line this week with a strong third-place run at Nashville. The No. 18 team is capable of running top five on a weekly basis, and similar finishes would easily get them into the Chase.

10. Parker Retzlaff (+29)

Retzlaff battled back from an engine failure in practice to finish 12th. While he lost a spot in the standings, he gained 10 points on the bubble from last week.

11. Sam Mayer (+26)

Mayer finished fourth on Saturday, gaining 19 huge points on the cut line. He was not expected to be a bubble driver at this point in the season and won't be one much longer if he keeps running top five.

12. Taylor Gray (+12)

A solid ninth-place run gained Gray 10 points on the bubble over 13th-place Rajah Caruth. Gray now has six top 10s on the season, which is the least among the 12 drivers currently in the Chase picture.

13. Rajah Caruth (-12)

Caruth, driving the No. 32 Jordan Anderson Racing Chevrolet this week, finished 19th on Saturday and lost 10 points to the cut line. It wasn't the best race for the rookie driver, but it's hard to place blame on him when he's constantly being shuffled in and out of two different cars while running a full season.

14. Brent Crews (-15)

Crews nearly scored his first career win on Saturday, battling toe-to-toe with Allgaier in the closing laps before finishing second. Still, he gained 14 points and a spot in the standings at Nashville in what was a huge race for the No. 19 team.

15. Ryan Sieg (-15)

Sieg finished 13th on Saturday and just won't go away from the bubble picture. He's exactly where he was a week ago in regard to his points situation.

16. Brennan Poole (-90)

Poole finished 21st on Saturday, marking two straight weeks that have killed his chances of making the Chase. Barring an uber-consistent stretch of top-15 finishes and a couple wins in the draft at Atlanta and Daytona, the No. 44's chances of making the Chase are all but over.

17. Anthony Alfredo (-113)

18. Dean Thompson (-117)

19. Jeremy Clements (-139)

20. Jeb Burton (-146)
