Former Giants HC Brian Daboll already getting praise with Titans

The New York Giants aren't looking back much these days, now that they have new head coach John Harbaugh in the fold and calling the shots. With the former Baltimore Ravens coach at the helm, there's a lot of excitement surrounding the new Giants season.

But it wasn't long ago that this team was headed up by Brian Daboll. The former head coach in New York is now the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans, and he's actually getting rave reviews.

Daboll served as head coach of the Giants from 2022 to 2025, for around three and a half seasons. He had plenty of time to turn this franchise around, but the poor record wasn't necessarily his fault. Now, he's fitting in well at his new gig.

Daboll, of course, also had great success during his career as the offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills, where he helped Josh Allen become the MVP-winning player he is today. The Titans are hoping Daboll brings that kind of magic to the team, especially by working with budding quarterback Cam Ward.

So far, Ward seems smitten. Speaking to the media amid OTAs, Ward sang Daboll's praises.

"He's going to put us all in great situations," Ward said, according to ESPN. "I think he's a perfect fit. He's going to put the ball in my hands as much as he needs to. He believes in not only myself, but the playmakers I have around me, and the O-line to protect. He just wants to put the ball in the end zone and score a lot of points."

Daboll couldn't make it work with the Giants, but that doesn't mean he's not a good coach. His time with the Titans will give him a chance to start fresh and show the world what he still has to offer.
