The 'Passing-TD record by NFL team' quiz

When Patrick Mahomes signed his 10-year, $400 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, he made history with the largest NFL contract ever. Now, he’s making more history (and money), with two more years and restructured payments to make his contract the first ever worth half a billion dollars.

The deal comes as Mahomes recovers from a torn ACL suffered late in the 2025 season and the Chiefs missing the playoffs for the first time since 2014. Kansas City went 6-8 in the 14 games Mahomes did start, with the two-time MVP throwing for his second-fewest yards-per-game (256.2) with 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Mahomes will turn 31 early in the 2026 season, and the new deal ties him to the Chiefs through his age-38 season in 2033.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Mahomes has already been the best quarterback in Chiefs history, holding career and single-season franchise records in completions, passing yards and touchdowns. With that being said, can you name the NFL quarterbacks to throw the most touchdowns in one season for each franchise?

Good luck!
