Aaron Rodgers, Steelers get disrespected in unique NFL ranking

The Pittsburgh Steelers are inching closer and closer to Year 2 with legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers back, and this is it. It's the final run for Rodgers, because he's promised to retire after this season. Of course, he could change his mind, but he sounds pretty adamant about it, and he'll be 43 by the end of the 2026 season.

So, with Rodgers taking the field for one last time before he calls it a day in the NFL, you would think the Steelers would be an entertaining team to watch next season. But one NFL analyst doesn't think they'll be very exciting to watch.

In a feature for USA Today on Friday, Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz ranked every NFL team from most to least fun to watch and entertaining. He's not impressed with what the Steelers have to offer next season. He puts them at No. 20 on the list.

Aaron Rodgers and Steelers don't prove entertaining enough in new ranking

"The Steelers haven't exactly taken an imaginative approach to moving past the Mike Tomlin era, opting to bring back 42-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers to work once again under 62-year-old coach Mike McCarthy," Middlehurst-Schwartz said in the piece.

He added: "Still, the reunion between the two should at least make Pittsburgh more palatable to viewers, as should a more dynamic approach to deploying the league's most highly paid defense."

So, at least he throws Rodgers and McCarthy a bone at the end there. Frankly, seeing Rodgers reunited with McCarthy should make for entertaining television for Steelers viewers, plus those who followed these two in Green Bay.
