Corbin Carroll has continued to provide the Arizona Diamondbacks with critical run support by generating clutch hits with runners in scoring position (RISP).
With the bases loaded this season he has been unstoppable, going 5-for-6 (.833) with two doubles a triple, and 15 RBI. In his career with the bases loaded, he has gone 13-for-17.
In the Diamondbacks' 9-5 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Friday, Carroll hit a bases-clearing triple in the eighth inning. It was the 52nd triple of his career, which tied Stephen Drew's Diamondbacks franchise triples record.
The triple he hit was also his ninth this season, which leads MLB. He put on quite the performance against the Twins as he was a home run shy of hitting a cycle; he tallied a single, double, triple, walk and four RBI.

Carroll has been stellar for the Diamondbacks, slashing .283/.371/.554 with 13 home runs, 42 RBI, nine stolen bases and a .925 OPS. He's also been a stud when it comes to notching extra-base hits (38) and is boasting a 49.3% hard-hit rate (88th percentile).
He also possesses an elite sprint speed of 29.7 feet per second that sits in the 97th percentile, which has provided the Diamondbacks with an extra boost on the basepaths.
The most recent home run he crushed on June 17 went 433 feet deep off of a changeup that produced an average exit velocity of 111.8 mph.
Carroll has ultimately been dominant when it comes to hitting for power and has helped to carry the Diamondbacks offense along with Ketel Marte. While the Diamondbacks have been inconsistent this season, they remain in second place in the NL West.
