The Jacksonville Jaguars have come to terms with tight end Brenton Strange on a new deal.
According to reports, it's a three-year contract extension that can be worth up to $48 million.
This new deal will come with $25 million guaranteed.
Strange, 25, has been a consistent target for quarterback Trevor Lawrence over the past two seasons. A second-round pick from the 2023 NFL Draft out of Penn State (pick No. 61), Strange is coming off the best season of his young career.

After catching 40 passes for 411 yards and two touchdowns in 2024, he followed that up with 46 catches for 450 yards and three touchdowns.
His yards-per-catch average increased from 10.3 to 11.7, and his first downs caught went up from 21 to 28.
The Jaguars believe Strange will improve, and he's obviously gotten better year-over-year.
He was entering the final year of his rookie contract, so general manager James Gladstone had an incentive to get him locked up long-term.
If he keeps improving, and that has been his trend, Strange could have commanded more money on the open market as a free agent. Essentially, he'll never be cheaper to sign than right now, so this is a good deal for both parties.
The contract could be worth nearly $16 million a year in average annual value. That will give him the fifth-highest AAV in 2026 among all tight ends behind players like George Kittle and Trey McBride but ahead of Isaiah Likely, Mark Andrews and Dalton Schultz.
