The wedding of pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce isn't cheap.
Kelce and Swift are expected to tie the knot on Friday at Madison Square Garden in a private ceremony. The event could be "bigger than the Met Gala." Swift and Kelce reportedly invited over 1,000 guests, including multiple celebrities. Singer/actress Selena Gomez and actor Bradley Cooper are just a few of the names on the list.
Hosting that many stars and that much security will cost one of America's most famous couples. New York luxury wedding planner Alyssa Pettinato told NBC News' Kimmy Yam that the wedding could cost between $15M-$25M. Despite dropping boatloads of cash on their wedding, Swift and Kelce aren't any less charitable.
Chris Willman of Variety reported Thursday that Kelce and Swift have donated $26M to at least 20 charities this week. They include nine food banks, an animal cruelty organization, seven educational programs and three children's hospitals.
Perhaps the power of love made them feel super generous. It's also worth noting that Kelce and Swift have never shied from sharing their wealth or other personal items for good causes. In 2025, Swift donated an autographed "The Tortured Poets Department" guitar to an auction for the foundation of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. It ultimately sold for $15K.

May the good hearts of Swift and Kelce bring them plenty of good fortune in a long and happy marriage. The couple went public with their relationship in September 2023. They began dating shortly after Kelce unsuccessfully attempted to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number at one of her concerts. In August 2025, Kelce popped the question to Swift.
