Lakers legend explains one obvious problem with signing LeBron James

For the past eight years, the Los Angeles Lakers and their fans got the full LeBron James experience.

Whether they were making deep postseason pushes or missing the playoffs, one thing remained the same: James' influence in the front office. That only seemed to waver once Luka Doncic arrived in Southern California, which is probably the biggest reason James left in free agency.

That's why Lakers legend Byron Scott has some doubts about his next destination. In the latest edition of his podcast, Scott warned teams about James' antics.

Byron Scott questions LeBron James' antics

“All the antics, the people that’s working with, you know, Rich Paul and all those guys and all the other stuff that goes along with it. Bronny James, do you have to get Bronny James out of his Laker deal?,” Scott said. “So there is a lot of layers to it when you’re talking about bringing LeBron along. We all know this for a fact.”

Regardless of how anyone may feel about LeBron James, it's hard to deny what Scott said. Fans and members of the media even jokingly call him "LeGM" because of how much of a say he wants in roster-building and whatnot, and he's left teams every single time he's been denied that kind of leverage.

He'll most likely bring his son along with him, forcing whoever signs him to give a borderline NBA player a roster spot. That said, James sells out arenas and jerseys, and most teams would love to have him spend his twilight days with them. They will just have to brace for the entire experience and everything that comes with it, both good and bad.
