The PGA Tour heads to Greensboro, N.C. this week for the regular season finale at the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club. With only one week left before the FedEx Cup Playoffs get underway, let's break down the juiciest storylines for the Wyndham Championship.

Cameron Young the man to beat

A year ago, Young won the Wyndham Championship to secure his first career PGA Tour victory. He's since won the Players Championship and the Cadillac Championship and recorded two top-three major championship finishes, cementing him as one of the best golfers in the world.

Young returns to Sedgefield this year as a different player with loftier goals, and he's a hefty favorite to defend his title. The American is +850 (FanDuel) to win his second straight Wyndham Championship, while no other player in the field is priced lower than +1600.

There's a tournament within the tournament at this week's Wyndham Championship. Sure, everyone teeing it up at Sedgefield is there to win, but many players are just focused on cracking the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

After this week, the top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings will advance to the postseason and secure their PGA Tour card for 2027. Players ranked between 71 and 125 after this week must compete in the FedEx Cup Fall to fight for full or conditional status.

Brooks Koepka's back against the wall

Koepka is the biggest name on the outside looking in entering the regular season finale. The five-time major champion ranks 86th in the FedEx Cup standings and needs a solo fourth or better this week to play his way into the top 70.

The odds were stacked against Koepka this season because he couldn't automatically qualify for Signature Events. Then, he suffered an injury at the RBC Canadian Open in June and had to withdraw. He's played only three times since then, and he recently withdrew from the Rocket Classic.

Now, Koepka needs to play his best tournament of the year to make the playoffs.
