The Kansas City Chiefs have gone through their fair share of drama with Rashee Rice.
The talented wide receiver underwent knee surgery this offseason, and he had to spend the first 30 days of his recovery in jail for violating his parole. There were doubts and major concerns about the potential impact on his recovery ahead of a contract year, and he was forced to miss spring workouts.
That's why fans will be thrilled to know that he's finally back on the field and participating in 11-on-11 drills, according to ESPN's Nate Taylor.
"For the 1st time in camp, Rashee Rice is participating in the 11-on-11 periods," Taylor shared on X.

Rice is expected to be the Chiefs' primary pass-catcher this season, with Xavier Worthy also hopeful to leap after two up-and-down years with the organization.
The former second-round pick Rice showed glimpses of greatness as a rookie, becoming Patrick Mahomes' go-to guy down the stretch, but he hasn't been able to replicate that production.
A season-ending injury and a suspension have kept Rice on the shelf for a long time, and his poor off-field decision-making has fans wondering whether the Chiefs should give him a long-term, big-money deal.
He'll likely have to ramp things up after such a long layoff, but training camp will be the perfect setting for him to prove how much they need him and why they should ignore all the red flags and give him a lucrative contract.
