Travis Kelce was already one of the most popular guys in the National Football League, but his relationship with Taylor Swift took him to new heights — no pun intended.
Kelce's every move has now been heavily scrutinized, and some have blamed his relationship for his diminished production in recent years.
Unsurprisingly, he was in the spotlight again as he arrived at training camp fresh off his wedding, with some claiming he had a "dad bod" and was out of shape.
In an appearance on the NFL Network, head coach Andy Reid had to (laughingly) clear the air on that situation.
“He came back in good shape. I know everybody’s out there saying he’s got the dad body and all this stuff, but he looks the same to me that he’s always looked and [he’s] playing like crazy,” Reid said, laughing. “He’s focused in and ready to go, and I appreciate that.”

Kelce is just another victim of Father Time. Blaming his slower step on his relationship after 13 years in the league is just unfair.
Moreover, even this version of Kelce is better than the average tight end, and he'll continue to be crucial to the Kansas City Chiefs' offense in what will most likely be his final season in the league.
Kelce will have plenty of time to let himself go a bit and carry some additional weight above the waist.
For now, he remains a pro's pro.
