Phoenix Raceway will host another NASCAR, IndyCar doubleheader in 2027

Phoenix Raceway will host a NASCAR-IndyCar doubleheader weekend for the second straight year in 2027, the track announced Wednesday. 

The March 12-14, 2027, race weekend at Phoenix will once again feature NASCAR and IndyCar racing on the same weekend just as it did in March. The IndyCar race at Phoenix on March 7 was the first event at the track for the series since 2018. 

The ARCA Menards Series will kick off the four-race weekend at the venue on March 12, with the NTT IndyCar Series and NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series racing on March 13. The NASCAR Cup Series will conclude the weekend on March 14. 

Phoenix set to host two NASCAR race weekends

Phoenix also confirmed Wednesday that it will once again feature two NASCAR race weekends in 2027, the latter of which will occur in October and be a part of NASCAR's Chase. That weekend will also feature four races, with ARCA, the O'Reilly Series and Cup Series returning, along with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series racing at the one-mile venue in Avondale, Arizona.
