Video shows Caitlin Clark's wild routine hours before game

Caitlin Clark’s dedication to her craft paid off Tuesday night. The Indiana Fever superstar point guard punched in several hours before tipoff at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind., and then proceeded to have one of her best games of the season in a 106-92 victory over the visiting New York Liberty.

With the stands still empty and the lights still out inside the arena, Clark was seen putting up shots—and making them.

Here is a clip showing the former Iowa Hawkeyes star having some “lights out” work prior to the Liberty contest.

Clark’s effort did not go to waste, as the Fever demolished New York, 106-92, for their second win in a row and 21st overall in the 2026 WNBA season.

She put up 22 points on 7/15 shooting from the floor and 4/8 from deep, while dropping 10 dimes and adding a steal in 35 minutes of action. Meanwhile, Clark’s backcourt partner, Kelsey Mitchell, went off for 28 points on 11/15 shooting from the field and 4/4 from 3-point distance.

Clark and the Fever will take a much-deserved rest with no games on their schedule on Wednesday and Thursday before getting back to work on Friday for a matchup against the Dallas Wings at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
